Bacteriostatic Water
Sealed bacteriostatic mixing water for research preparation workflows, in 10ml and compact 3ml vials.
Overview
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, supplied in a sealed vial for the laboratory reconstitution of lyophilised research compounds. The preservative inhibits bacterial growth in a multi-puncture vial, which is why it is the standard reconstitution solvent for peptides that are stored after mixing.
The 3ml vial (£4) reconstitutes a single research vial and is the size offered by the order builder on every standard-vial product page; the 10ml vial (£10) covers several vials or a larger blend such as the KLOW Stack. Supplied strictly for laboratory research; not for human or animal consumption.
