Terms and conditions of sale
These terms apply to purchases made from the North Peptides UK website. Last updated: 20 July 2026.
1. About these terms
“We”, “us” and “our” mean the seller identified above, trading as North Peptides UK. “You” means the customer. Contact us at orders@northpeptidesuk.com. Nothing in these terms limits rights that UK consumer law gives you.
2. Products and eligibility
Products are supplied strictly for legitimate laboratory and scientific research and are not for human or animal consumption. You must be at least 18 and must ensure that purchase, possession and intended use are lawful. Product images are illustrative; descriptions, quantities and stated specifications form part of the listing.
3. Orders and the contract
Your checkout submission is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send an order confirmation after payment is confirmed. We may reject or cancel an order before dispatch where an item is unavailable, details appear incorrect, fraud is suspected, or supply would be unlawful. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. [FILL IN: VAT status]. Delivery charges are shown before payment. Payment is by bank transfer to the account details provided at checkout and by email. A site discount cannot be combined with any other offer unless we expressly state otherwise.
5. Delivery
We currently deliver to UK addresses using the delivery option selected at checkout. We aim to dispatch within 24–48 hours after confirmed payment on business days. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates. Please contact us promptly if an order is delayed or arrives damaged. Risk passes when the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate; ownership passes once full payment is received.
6. Cancellation, returns and faults
Consumers may have a 14-day statutory right to cancel distance contracts. The process, model cancellation form, return conditions, refund timing, and sealed-goods exception are set out in our Refunds & Returns Policy. Your rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
7. Responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. We are not responsible for losses caused by unlawful or improper use, or business losses where you buy as a consumer.
8. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will contact you where practical and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect. If a substantial delay occurs, you may contact us to cancel and receive a refund for goods not supplied.
9. Personal data
We handle personal data as explained in our Privacy Notice and use optional analytics only as explained in our Cookie Notice.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers living elsewhere in the UK retain any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts applicable to where they live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint.
